It is said that people tend to not value something that doesn’t cost anything. This is probably why many new business owners skip some of the foundational steps to ensure success. It does take time and energy, which I feel is more valuable than money. The powerful thing about what I am sharing with you today is that if you do this, you are going to save valuable time and energy throughout the life of your successful business.
What is this secret ingredient that all successful business are using?
This isn’t something to simply copy from another successful business. These are for you to determine which are the most important for you and your business. It is recommended to have between 3 and 5 values that you use to build your business on. You can search for a list of values to get an idea of the different values available.
Why are these so important?
Your business’ values are a set of standards. When you are evaluating any choice, if it doesn’t meet the standards of your values it’s a hard no. This even works wonders with pushy salespeople because it is an objection they know they cannot overcome.
Most business opportunities out there are low in value beyond the sensational marketing messages. Being able to say no to these immediately can save you weeks or months of time you could spend trying to make it work for you.
Values help you tame your emotions. It is easy to get excited when you dream of an amazing future or desperate to get relief to a pain point that marketers now how to push. These emotions cloud your judgment and get you to say yes to an offer. By knowing your values and using them as your guiding standards for decision making, you eliminate some of these foolish decisions.
These values should also come through in all of your messaging. Don’t be afraid to share your values, vision, and mission. It is going to be like a shining beacon to them that they have found exactly what they’ve been looking for.
This builds the know, like, and trust factor quickly. Make sure that your actions match your words, though. When you have values and live by them, it becomes really easy to spot those that are only giving lip service to values they supposedly hold.
Affiliate marketing is a growing industry with more and more people entering the market space every day. If you recall from the blueprint, only 3% of them are going to have written goals, and even less are going to have written values. This is why most of the marketing you see are for the same programs over and over, just with hundreds of different affiliate links.
This does generate sign ups because it appears to be popular. But how do you know if they are going to sign up on your link and not someone else’s?
This is why you market yourself or your own brand. It allows you to stand out in the crowd. When you do present them with the popular offer, they are much more likely to sign up with you compared to some other faceless affiliate.
The values I am building my business with are: Community, Love, Integrity, Modesty, and Balance. They spell the acronym CLIMB, signifying growth, which is why the brand for the business is Balanced Growth Affiliates.
Community is working together towards a common purpose. That common purpose is to help each other succeed.
Love is enjoying what you do and seeing the value in everyone in the community.
Integrity is steadfastly adhering to your values and morals.
Modesty is maintaining simplicity in your business systems.
Balance is doing the amount required without going overboard.
These are the guides that are steering this business with the purpose to help everyone who subscribes and joins the programs I offer succeed. I was sick of all of the programs with empty promises where only about 3% of the marketers have any success.
If you would like to hear about an offer I have that is in pre-launch right now, schedule a call with me. This is not a high-pressure sales call. This program is about helping you get leads and set up your brand and business for success by helping your leads get leads and set up their brand and business for success.
Cheers to your success!
